I adore getting in the carpenters union some know it as the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC). In the carpenters union everyone is nicely trained to deal with carpenter jobs. Union carpenters make confident that they generate high quality function.

Ever since I got out of high school I wanted to go to the union. I wanted work at a job had been every person produced the exact same rate. But I heard it was challenging to get in, so I went to Job Corps a government funded school had been they have a preapprenticeship program that guided me to get in the union and ready me for the math test that I had to take. Much less then a year later there I was in the union, generating good cash with rewards.

O Yes, the pay is great in the carpenters union, but that is not the only factor that is great they also have great advantages a pension, annuity and a vacation fund. I’m also a member of the federal credit union.

One more benefit on getting a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC) is this if I decided to move to a distinct state I don’t have to worry about searching for another job since as lengthy as the state has a carpenters union I will be able to work in that state as a union carpenter but the pay does vary in different states. UBC is connected across the U.S and Canada.

An additional benefit is if I am having a big issue with a contractor I can simply quit or get laid off. And the union will give me an additional job. In my down time I just collect unemployment.

The simple carpentry union is effective, its been around for a very long time and its not going anywhere some people tell me that the union has gotten weak over the years whether or not it has or has not it doesn’t matter it is deeply rooted in America and its not going anyplace.
